I purchased phantomalert for my husband for xmas for his GPS . I don’t know if I have done it properly , we get some warning but no red light ones…Any hints.
Does Phantom Alert detect lasers?
I do not see any change on my 255W Garmin unit and when I go through a red ligt cramera nothing happens.

It detect lasers if there is data regarding it.

It’s already available on the iPhone Appstore.
You will need to purchase a Phantom Alert license first in order to see all the speed traps.

I agree this software is a scam. It will PROBABLY show things like school zones and red light/speed cameras. I laugh at its ability to located RADAR speed traps. I spend 34 years as a Pennsylvania State Trooper. Yes there were preferred areas to run RADAR. But in most cases the trooper doesn’t even know at the start of his shift where he will hang out the RADAR! SO how can this device alert you? The best way to avoid a speeding ticket is to obey the speed limit!
